The Best Jessica Rabbit Tee.

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

The image is almost three dimensional.

She seems to pop right off the chest.  Just like Jessica herself!

We'll Always Have Christie.

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

The fabulous Christie Rosen showing how my favorite Toontown Tee should be worn.

Christie came up with the idea for and also taught my 73rd Birthday Yoga party.  For that I owe her a big Toontown namaste.

As I tell Christie often, "I'm not bad, I just do yoga that way."

Let's go for a Spin!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

The Tee commemorating the Roger Rabbit Cartoon Spin Ride at Toontown in Disneyland.

I've gone on this ride about a zillion times and, believe me, it never gets old. Of course when I go, Roger always drives and that does elevate the absurdity index a whole lot.

12 Ounce Curls!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

A Tee displaying the logo of my favorite adult beverage.

I started drinking Guinness in Ireland in 1972 and never stopped.  I've personally accounted for 6 months of production at the Guinness plant.  And counting!

Roger And Jessica Rabbit In Bad Taste

Two Roger and Jessica Rabbit drawings in which talented animator Jacques Muller illustrates the concept of bad taste.

Personally, I don't care how bad this tastes, I think Jacques' humor is very, very funny.

The Terrible Two Inseparable Brothers.

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

My little friends Henry and Ned.

They are anything but Terrible, although they are Inseparable.

I'm loving the camo pants, the Tevas, and the floppy hats.  These boys really know how to style.

He'll always be my Eddie!

Wolfman'ts T-shirt of the Day.

Commemorating the wonderful Bob Hoskins.

Bob is, was, and always will be the man I visualize when I write the name and the character Eddie Valiant.

Save A Fish! Eat a Pig!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

Don't know the meaning of this one.  It was given to me by my favorite oldest niece, so Uncle Gary wears it proudly.

The Center of the Universe.

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

Earlville, Illinois, Population 1,400.  My home time and the self-proclaimed Center of the Universe.

Who says you can't go home anymore?  I do it all the time.  At least in my memories.  Heck, I'm there now!

They're playing out Toon!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

Hot times at the Ink 'n Paint Club.

Roger, Jessica, the Octopus bartender, the penguin waiters, the gorilla bouncer, a frog playing a saxophone, a magpie playing a bass,  another frog playing a trombone, yet ANOTHER frog playing a trumpet (who knew frogs had such musical talent), shoes dancing, and notes flying around hither and yon.

Just another night of wild hilarity at Toontown's hottest jazz joint.

Cab And Driver!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

To go with yesterday's '59 Vette shirt, here's a Tee that shows what I'm driving today.

At least the Vette never talks back to me when I'm on the road.

World's Greatest Wife!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

This was my wife's present to me on our 20th wedding anniversary.  Not the Tee, the car.  A 1959 Corvette which I restored to factory new condition.

You can see the car for yourself at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky.

I got her a box of candy!

Mickey's Toontown!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

Today, let's all take a ride on over to Mickey's Toontown.

For me, that's like going for a drive through my own imagination.  An exceeding weird and wonderful place.  A great place to visit, but only a nutsy cuckoo bird like me would wanna live there.

My Work Here Is Done!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

My favorite oldest niece, the tasting room at the Sam Adams Brewery, a Boston Tee, and an empty glass of beer.

I have raised my children well.  My work here is done!

Jacques Muller Makes It Look Easy!

Talented animation artist Jacques Muller makes drawing Roger Rabbit look soooo easy!  Believe me,  it's not.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udRc56Utz6I

Check out what Jacques did with the cover and the characters in my new novel Who Wacked Roger Rabbit?  And while your there, contribute to the arts.  Buy the book.  Jacques gets a royalty on every copy sold. It's your way of saying thanks for all the many chuckles animators have given you through the years.

Half a Tee Is Better Than None.

Wolfman's T-Shirt of the Day.

This young woman really knows how to rock a Tee.

We're comparing shirts and tats.  She wins on both counts, hands down!

What Would Tim Riggins Think?

Wolfman's Jessica Rabbit Lookalike of the Day.

Adrianne Palicki aka Tyra Collette from Friday Night Lights.

Meet Honey Graham!

Wolfman's Character Inspiration of the Day.

Caitlyn "Honey" Graham.

As most of you know, I base a lot of my characters on real people. Here's the latest example.

Meet Caitlyn Visconte, my inspiration for Honey Graham, the glamorous, alluring, seductive, and mysterious femme fatale in Who Wacked Roger Rabbit?

I worked with the novel's cover designer, talented artist Jacques Muller, to bring Honey to life.  Or rather to bring her from life to fiction.

Here Caitlyn and I are posing with the model sheet Jacques did showing Honey in her various outfits.

If you want to read all about Honey, the Toon version, download a copy of Who Wacked Roger Rabbit? Honey has quite the story to tell.  You won't be disappointed.

Vrooom, vroom!

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

Something to get your motor racing.

Roger and Benny the Cab hot-rodding around Toontown.

What, me worry?

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

All of my friends are dying off.  Pretty soon there'll be nobody left to say good things about me when my time comes.  First Bob Hoskins, now Al Feldstein, editor at Mad magazine.

I met Al after the Roger Rabbit movie came out.  I told him that Mad was a big influence on me when I was growing up.   Toontown is clearly a riff on the wack-a-doodle stuff Al printed in Mad.

This is the Tee I always associated most with my Mad man days. It's the pose I always imagined Alfred E. Neuman would strike if he ran for president.

The Bob Hoskins Special

Wolfman's T-shirt of the Day.

I spent a lot of time with Bob Hoskins when he came to Massachusetts to film Mermaids with Cher and Winona Ryder.

At the time, I was writing a movie about the love affair between a Boston Celtic basketball player and a dancer with the Boston Ballet. (A movie which, ironically, is just now going into production.)  So I was spending time hanging around with the Larry Bird-era Celtics and the Boston Ballet.  Bob, a true Renaissance man, was into both.

Bob came with me to Hellenic College, a Greek Orthodox College outside Boston, where the Celtics had set up their practice facility.  He also went with me to the temporary practice studios the Ballet had set up in Newton while their Boston facilities were being renovated.  We joked about which was worse.  Bob's jump shot or my jeté.

We went to a couple of Celtics games together and one ballet.  Bob went backstage after the ballet and greeted the dancers most of whom were Roger Rabbit fans and were thrilled to meet him.
Bob was a kind, gracious, funny, unpretentious, and altogether wonderful human being. The most down-to-Earth movie star I have ever met.

On his last day in Boston, as a going away gift, I gave Bob a Henley Roger Rabbit shirt like this one.

So long, Bob.  You were, are, and always will be my Eddie Valiant.
